I’m Lissa Turner, founder of Turner Business Around. I bring extensive experience from highly regulated construction, MEP and nuclear environments, where accuracy, compliance and discretion are essential.
For 15 years+, I’ve supported complex projects by putting robust systems, procedures and controls in place – ensuring businesses operate smoothly behind the scenes while meeting demanding compliance and security requirements.

My background includes senior office management and security liaison roles on major projects for organisations including Cavendish Nuclear, Costain Group and NG Bailey. I’ve worked extensively in environments where confidentiality, audit readiness and structured processes are non-negotiable.
My experience includes:
- Developing and implementing onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Managing SQEP compliance, audits and training trackers
- Producing procedures, process maps and operational documentation
- Supporting ISO27001 and ISO9001 compliance and audits
- Managing security vetting, access control and clearance renewals
- Leading and mentoring administrative teams
- Acting as a central point of coordination between clients, contractors and stakeholders
I’m used to working independently, handling sensitive information, and supporting senior teams without constant oversight.

Professional training & compliance knowledge
My professional training includes NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, ISO27001 Foundation, ISO9001 Internal Auditor, CSCS and First Aid at Work and Mental Health First Aider, alongside extensive experience with systems such as SharePoint, Visio, Minerva, Aconex and Microsoft 365 as well as holding Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production (Interactive Media) and Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration and Practice.
This means I understand not just what needs to be done, but why it matters – especially in regulated and safety-critical industries.
